I feel validated. I am so excited to announce that Mine, All Mine will be published through Tinderboox ePublishing. I feel validated because for the first time someone outside friends, family, or random Internet reader finds my book to be good enough for publishing. This is a huge step for my writing career and a wonderful feeling. I will be working with a professional editor, proof reader, and cover designer. When the final (revised) draft is finished it will be promoted and sold through Amazon kdp select, Smashwords, and Barnes&Nobel ePublishing. I definitely had a screaming dancing around my room moment (silent scream because my son was napping). For all you cynics out there I am well aware this is not my J.K. Rowling or Stefanie Meyer break though and I am not quitting my day job but this is big deal to me and I am damn excited. This may not be my winning lottery ticket but it is definitely a step towards my dream. There is still lots of work to be done but I won't be doing it alone now. Opportunity is knocking and I am opening the door!
